We are one of the UK's leading Workwear and Leisurewear suppliers with a  full in-house embroidery, transfer and printing service. We stock the biggest workwear brands at competitive prices, and we’ve got thousands of happy customers.

Based in the beautiful market town of Bridgnorth, in the Shropshire countryside, over the years we have supplied thousands of customers in rural and outdoor industries including forestry, agriculture, tourism, and food processing, and we supply private estates, schools, sports clubs, kitting out grounds staff and maintenance teams too.

Our History

We are a family business based on the family’s equestrian smallholding – we’ve been trading from this site since 1935.  First as a riding stables, then as one of the UK’s largest outfitters of hardworking countrywear for people who live and work outdoors, today our parents have passed the workwear baton to us adult children - family members are still hands on and involved day-to-day, taking care of our customers.   Whether it’s helping with artwork, making product suggestions, or driving to the port at 4am to ensure your special rushed job gets on the boat, we’re here to help.

The family’s success in Workwear was driven by well-known local figure Bob Turner, and his son Ben.  After a successful career as sales director for a large midlands industrial clothing supplier, in the early 1980s Bob and his partner decided to branch out on their own, founding the hugely successful workwear and PPE wholesalers Beeswift Ltd.  Today Beeswift is based in the West Midlands employing hundreds of staff. 

When Bob sold his share in Beeswift in 1998, he decided he wasn’t quite ready to retire after all!   He wanted to use his vast knowledge of industrial and corporate clothing to pivot the family business to selling workwear direct to the trade and customers.  From the early days, supplying customers from repurposed agricultural buildings and the boot of the car, the business has grown and evolved, with Ben developing our online presence. 

Working until nearly 80, Bob is finally enjoying a well-earned retirement and today Bob’s three adult children run our latest venture, Bestworkwear Ltd from converted outbuildings at the family’s rural home.  With the latest high-tech embroidery and print machines, talented machinists and technicians and an impressive range of stock, we supply thousands of trade and corporate clients all over the UK as well as export to more than 20 countries.

With decades in the business and a massive product knowledge, Ben, the family and our team of friendly staff are always on hand to support customers.  We pride ourselves on staying true to our roots, providing old fashioned customer service in a digital world, for all enquiries big and small.
